Private and Semiprivate Lessons
Private lessons help kids and adults become more comfortable in the water while growing their swim skills. They are ideal for students who learn better with individual attention, including, anxious first-time swimmers, those with special needs, and adults who have not had the opportunity to learn to swim. Lessons are 30-minutes in length.
Private Lesson Pricing
All pricing is based on a per-lesson rate.
- $50: Member
- $55: Non-Member
- $60: Non-Member, Non-Resident
Semiprivate Lesson Pricing
All pricing is based on a per-lesson rate. Multiple lesson can be purchased at once, and lessons may be shared among members of the same family or with members of another family.

- $85: Non-Member
- $90: Non-Member, Non-Resident
Payment
Payments can be made at the front desk or over the phone prior to the start of lessons. FPFC accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or Discover.
Scheduling Lessons
Lessons are scheduled based on instructor availability. Once an instructor is confirmed and payment is received, lessons can be scheduled by either your instructor or the Aquatics Director. Contact: jclaridge@fidalgopool.com or 360-293-0673 ext. 103
Cancellation Policy
- Advanced Notice: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. Exceptions apply for unforeseen illness or emergencies.
- No-Shows: Failure to notify the pool or instructor within 24 hours will result in a forfeited lesson, which will not be rescheduled or refunded.
- Payment Requirement: Lessons must be paid before the first session begins.
- Refunds: FPFC does not offer refunds for unused or cancelled lessons.
- Breaks: If you choose to pause lessons, unused sessions will remain on your account for future use.
- Funds Transfer: Unused private lesson funds may be applied toward group lessons, but not toward other FPFC services.
- Sharing Packages: Private lesson packages may be shared among members of the same household.
